A flat roof link section provides a considered and low impact connection to the main house, ensuring the first floor windows remain unaffected. The footprint provides an extra reception room with a better connection to the garden.

The position of the extension creates a private courtyard patio, visually screening much of the external space from adjacent neighbours. Incorporating a shower room within the new space, futureproofs the dwelling should the new space be used as a bedroom in the future.
